Cute Pig Attack!

I went into Dunbarton’s Bank and saw this. What is it!

Just so random. Actually, it’s a statue made from a Mimic pet, I think.

Herro and I went to kill bears for my quests. I cashed in the Skeleton Wolf quest and got a tricolor robe. I was expecting ugly colors, but was pleasantly surprised.

I couldn’t carry it, though.

Herro randomly DC’d on me, or so I though, but … a minute later …

He logged in as his Herb Pig!

And then charged a bear!

He died. He’s only level 4! From then on, he had me kill the bears.

Didn’t stop him from taunting the bears.

What a strong finish this is.

After a few more bears, he realized he was only ranking Healing skill.

That just sounds so emotional coming from a cute little piggy.

But he surprised me on the next bear. Looks dangerous!

Anyway, after that we went to try to get me Final Hit skill. I got a keyword from Aodhan in Emain, but try as I might, Nicca just wouldn’t let me start the quest. I must be doing something wrong …

In the downtime from Herro trying to figure it out, I watched the players around us.

What the? It’s Fleta!

Then my time ran out so I logged off.

TOMORROW C3 COMES TO MAIN! No more time limit!

Alby Hard Mode

Last night I was kinda miffed after a Barri Basic/Lower run in NA with Serenity.   I played as my pet wolf, since he found a pass in Fiodh from a White Snake.  However, during the run, Serenity got like all the loot. Blue Long Sword, Fluted Short Sword of Raven, Deadly Ecnhant Scroll from the Lotto room, and a Finest Leather.  I got … Gold …

Meh.  I kinda wanted the Fluted Sword.  I’m preparing for duals in the future, heh.  Oh well.

So after that, Herro and I logged into test server without a plan on what to do. The moongate went to Tir Chonaill, so … we tried Alby Hardmode Dungeon.

The monsters there are the same as in normal Alby, just waaaaaaaayyyyyyy overpowered. It’s funny in a non-humorous way.

God, these rats are huge!

Herro tells me he has an idea. A perfect idea.

Well the idea ended in fail, as you can see.

We tried again. Herro summoned a golem, and we both readied some alchemy …

He blew the rats up …

They lived, so he summoned an earthen wall …

They broke through it …

Oh yeah, I took a pic as Herro was preparing a skill. He looks like a ghost! Also, his char is actually pretty old (16 or so, I think), so man, that rat -is- huge!

Ahh, more in the next room. Also, Herro is lying!

So the next plan was for me to Life Drain a rat (since I had low HP), and he’d put up another wall.

The rat somehow ran -around- the wall and cornered me, while Herro got aggro’d by another one.

So Herro had to afk and the next room was a switch room. Oh, what harm could I do by opening it? It just spawned bats.

A bat aggro’d me so I ran back to Herro to fight it off, successfully.

But then … a Bat aggro’d Herro somehow. And so I ran to rescue him, and got beaten through my own stupidity. Of course it aggro’d him again afterwards.

And he didn’t come back from AFK before he died. I lost my shield! NOOO, not my blue shield!

Herro returned with a vengeance! Go Eponia!

Yeah, the rats and bats in Alby Hardmode are nothing compared to Black Ship Rats … we just weren’t prepared for it. We only went on a lark anyway. Luckily, neither of us are the “We started it, we HAVE to finish it!” sort.

So we used a moonstone to Ch3 to log off for the night.  Looks like other people did too, hehe.

I hate Runda Dungeon.

I had been leveling my Exploring in Kela, but Herro came onto KR Main, so I moved continent to Dunbarton.

I find Korean players extremely cute. I don’t know why, but they charm me. I think it’s because I can’t understand what they are saying, so they seem mysterious. I’m going to learn Korean so I can talk to them (hopefully). I guess I’m a hypocrite when I say I hate japanophiles, but I’m interested in Korea. That doesn’t make me a Koreanophile, though. I don’t really want to visit there or enter their culture. I just want to communicate online ^^;;
Korean characters somehow look really pretty to me, compared to Chinese and Japanese …

Anyway, here are some “cute” Koreans I saw!
The twins were at Kela’s sungate. Matching clothes, awwwww~

This guy looks good in green. He even has a matching Hetero Kite Shield.

Is that wolf eating a chunk of meat? He was doing poses at me.

I think it’s from his hairstyle, on closer inpsection.

Anyway, I met Herro in Bangor, as I was supposed to, and we rode Eponia to Runda.
Minibear wasn’t out.

Honestly, I hate Runda with its multiaggroness. However, as long as there’s someone with me, I’m fine with it.
Herro decided to fight in his swimming trunks since we were kicking too much butt. I won’t show pictures of it, since, well, I’m sure it was meant to be private, heheheh. See, silly things like that make it bearable.

The Next Day

We did Runda again, this time, Herro went as Farro, his pet bird.

He mostly said “cheep” a lot.

I think he had a lot of fun, though ^^

We didn’t finish because I had to go for dinner, and the 2-hour timer just reset, so afk’ing would waste our time.  So we just logged off.

Also, today, I signed in as my old friend Powder Rune, since she hasn’t been able to play Mabinogi in like a year. KR is going to delete idle accounts soon, so I wanted her to be safe.

Ugh, look at her pink interface!  She loves pink as much as I love blue, I think.

The chatlog is all the stat+ she got from aging as I logged in.  Haha, hey, my char is older than she is, by like a year.

I know when she can play Mabinogi, she’ll play NA, though, since that’s where 99.99999% of the English-speaking players are.  But KR is where I started and it feels like home … so I have to play both servers.

Oh, I’d like to credit her for the idea of coloring player’s names in the blog text.  Makes it easier to skim that way.   I’d link to her old Mabi diary, but it’s like, not loading for me.  I think ROdiary.com is down.
