DnF Stuff

I haven’t said much about DnF lately. Well, I’ll catch you up. Mostly been grinding out quests and leeching from the Chocoboy. He’s so uber, being over 20 levels higher than us. What’s great (or bad, depending on your view) is that you can share exp with anyone of any level. So, everything he kills gives us exp.

However, apparently each level has a special cap of earnable exp, so we can’t just have him take us to a high level zone and leech us that way. So we’re doing zones for about our level.

Not much later, Uuu also fell asleep.

It’s blue, thus I like it.

My reaction was more on teh lines of “wtf…?”

What’s even more funny is that cultists can jump out of the blimp. And, the cultists are as tall as the blimp ………

The end. Now I’m level 33, doing lame collection quests in the Black Squid area.

Jousting

We were at Tara for that anniversary event and decided to try jousting for the first time.

In this corner, we have the Sheepgevon.

In the other, the not quite so sheep yaki.

The controls for this are pretty weird. It’s not controls at all. You just hit one of 4 keys, WSAD, and that is the attack you use. The chart here shows what key is good vs. another key.

A is good vs. D etc. Kinda hard to remember. Basically, you have to guess what your opponent will use like rock, paper, scissors.

My first hit HURT. ㅋㅋㅋ.

He’s making a comeback.

We did it twice and I won both times. Heh.

You can also play vs. an NPC.

Actually there weren’t too many of you. But damn, you so much as mention WM and everyone’s all GET IT TO 1 without even reading the main post. Srsly, how many of you plan to r1 it on an elf? Hardcore lifeless people need not answer.

I did manage to get it to rank 5 by having Ralphie knock over brown-tailed mongooses. Hell no to rank 4, after I looked at its training reqs.

Amusingly, there were a few times when Ralphie got attacked by a dog. Dumb things! Ralphie’s level 50!

However, Ralphie’s rather dumb, too. It took 5 minutes for him to kill the dog because he kept loading random skills instead of attacking. Ater this incident I went to look for some AIs.

Unfortunately I could not windmill it after it died.

I really have few plans for my elf, now. But r1 is out of the question. I’ll probably learn some magic. I really can’t get the hang of ranged combat, and it’s a bit too laggy for it.

Still looking for good pet AI. Smart Pet is okay. I … I tend to prefer Continuous attack, though… It’s suicidal, but, well, it gets the job done vs. the heavy stander shadow witches in G9.
