G9 Wild Fun Part 3 (spoilers)

There’ll be G9 spoilers. Stop reading if you don’t want to see them.

So, I noticed that the next G9 Shadow Mission requires a minimum of 3 to enter. Assuming this means it’s going to be HARD, we call summon a Dice.

Funny, he like never plays KR, yet he has his own Griffin Pet.

In the Mission, we step forward and….

Of course, Dicey has the best plan.

Okay, all traps triggered, and then … cutscene.

By the way, we have a 30 minute time limit, and none of us are uber. None of us are archers, either. And, and, he has COWS. We stand around staring in shock.

We resort to an old standby, thinking it should be killed the G1 way.

Unfortunately, the cows do not drop seal scrolls.

The barrier may come in handy, for once.

Fortunately, we can transform. Having lured him away, we ganged on him and luckily killed. I have ever been so appreciative of my Stiff tail cap and its + to injury.

Though, I’m dead.

This can’t be good.

Oh, uh, I guess it’s not over… we have 30 seconds left on the clock…

Yeah, we failed the mission. This wizard guy summoned a bloody golem on us. Oy.

We talk about getting some backup. To those who know Xing, this was rather amusing. But Dice had to leave for a guild meeing in NA.

Xing is pretty hardcore though. He got level 100 on the test server in like one day, or so I’ve been told.

G9 Wild Fun Part 2 (spoilers)

I enter the Shadow World to see….

Jenna badly outnumbered.

After about 8 consecutive waves of enemies, I think my char’s expression is justified.

Adniel… looks FREAKING AWESOME!

I love dragons.

If you haven’t finished G8 to receive the Big Horn of Adniel (its reward), you’ll get it in G9 at this point. But, you can only use it in the final battle. So, it’s better to finish G8 so you can use it anytime.

Since we were at the dragon cave, we decided to try the “Defend the Dragon Eggs” quest. Note my shiny new ego glow. I got her social to 6.

Pillar of EVIL.

Outnumbered.

And outclassed. (Wtf are those things?)

Needless to say, we failed.

Sick dragon can only watch as her eggs get pwned.

G9 Wild Fun Part 1 (spoilers)

Finally done leveling my pets, I started working on Generation 9 again. Finally finished the alchemy traces quest (thanks to Herro’s elf). Now there are just random shadow missions until the end.

If you don’t want to be spoiled, stop now. It gets pretty epic!

As you can see, Leymore’s there. At first I thought, what, he’s working with the enemy?! But then I realize they captured him and have him under guard while taking him somewhere.

But then, I accidentally stepped on a twig. No joke, this really happens. Thus the closeup of my foot.

So I have to run in there and start killing.

Sure Leymore, that’s -really- going to help. -_-

(I’m not a big fan of barrier. More often than not, it gets in my way. However, when it’s high ranked it can be very useful. Archers can then shoot over it (or alchemists can alchemy over it) and it returns damage to the monsters that attack it. I saw a video of someone soloing Peaca Basic’s banshee with it!)

That quest ended after he was defeated. Monster Life Drain sucks! Trust me on this. You can’t do anything to avoid it, afaik.

Jenna. When we first saw the G9 preview videos, we all (I mean my KR Test friends) all thought she was a giant. With a BOW!! So Khenta, giant fan that he is, was all excited thinking giants will soon be given bows.

But, I’ve come to the conclusion that she isn’t a giant. She just has the hairstyle of one. Why? Because her model is a young giant (10 years old) and she obviously has a relationship with Leymore. So she must be older than 10. Well, I could be wrong, but that’s what I think.
