Visiting the Elves in KR Lute

I decided to play KR main server (Lute) since NA is in lag-mode.  Oh, here’s how lag-mode it was:

We couldn’t enter dungeons, and we couldn’t even find any monsters outside. I guess they weren’t respawning, and everyone killed them? Or they all just up and disappeared.

Anyway on to KR Main.

My main character has tons of loot (borrowed without permission from some drama last year) and nowhere to put it all. It’s good stuff, too, so I don’t want to just drop it.

So, I know I can get a free elf character if I become friends with the elves. I could get a giant instead, but … bleh yeah, I like how elves look compared to Giants, and I have no bloody clue how to get to the Giant’s town. I only have a 2-hour time limit, so I went with where I know.

So I started at human camp in Rano, and walked all the way. I don’t have a horse! Trust me, it took like 20 minutes to get there.

I marked locations of interest because I could.

But that’s only half-way! Now I have to get through Connus, the elf desert(?), and find the elf town!

It took me ~30 minutes to get there.
Was it worth it? Heck yeah! I made an elf character! I wanted her hair and eyes blue, but those are premium =(

So, she was originally meant to be storage, but …. I’m having fun doing her beginner quests. Why not? There are money rewards.

My 2-hours ran up while I was doing the “Hit any armadillo with WindMill x5″ quest.

First thoughts

So a few weeks ago I was feeling emo.  Then I was joking with my brother that only emos have blogs.  So …

Well, mostly, I have a bad memory and my external HD died and I lost a good year’s worth of my life (Darn you trip-overable power cord!).  I hate physically -writing- a diary because, well, I’m used to typing.  So online diary it is.

It’ll just be me rambling on about my boring, boring life.

Also I have no bloody clue how to blog.

Anyway, recent news:  The 2x exp event for Mabinogi has officially killed my interest in the game (totally burned out from levelling).  I was already on the road to quitting anyway.  Well, I can’t quit easily since I got friends there, but I’ll just play less often.  Khenta, the main cool person there, has removed himself from the internet to study for exams (smart kid) so it’s even more boring than usual.  My BF also hasn’t been interested in playing anything.  Boring boring boring.

The reason I’m still playing is my beloved wolf, Ralfie!  Say hello to everyone~

I just love that smile.

His name is Ralfie because I wanted to name him Ralph after the monster in Final Fantasy 6, but the name was taken.  So was Ralphie and Ralf and Rolf.  I need to get him to level 48 so all his combat skills are maxed out.  He’s 43 now.  Almost there!

I’ll post many pics of him later.  Just got forced into playing Mabinogi Korean Test server.  Ah, nostalgia.  Haven’t been there in a while.
